Born and raised in the state’s Sun City, El Paso, I’ve also called San Antonio, Round Rock, Hutto, and recently, Georgetown, home. But that’s not all that qualifies me to teach the ins and outs of living in the best state in the nation. In my estimation, I’ve achieved true Texcellence.

The Pre-Real Estate Years

A graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, I was originally drawn to the lifestyle and opportunity to work with young people that a career in education might provide me. And, as proof of my fearless nature, instead of avoiding groups of young teenagers, as some feel compelled to do, I spent 12 years walking in their midst, as a middle school Language Arts teacher.

I took on many leadership roles and volunteer roles as a teacher, from leading grade-level teams, to academic teams, as well as bringing to life the goals of my students through pioneering Writing Club, Environmentalist Club, as well as coaching golf and cheer.

These experiences were monumental in my life, however my love and interest in real estate continued to grow, and I knew it was time to make a career change.

My successes come in part from my background in teaching. Working with students of all abilities and backgrounds, listening carefully to determine their needs, educating them on life’s processes – it all transferred readily to my career in real estate.

Most of all, I have a set of values that is hard to come by today. Whether these were instilled in me by virtue of growing up Texan, or my childhood in a border town, I believe in old-fashioned values -- ethics, honesty, reliability and treating others with dignity and respect, and that’s something we need more of in the world.

Today, I do what I love most; being of service to incredible clients, all while navigating the excitement of the Austin real estate market.
